SIC LOCKS OFF ELEVEN THOUSAND LITERS OF FUEL
Bengo– The Criminal Investigation Service in Bengo, detained, on Friday, 22.10.2021, three national citizens, aged between 34 and 43 years, accused in the crime of fuel diversion, in a quantity of eleven thousand liters of diesel, at the Barra do Dande Diversion Control Post, in the municipality of Dande, in order to be marketed in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The facts occurred when these citizens, at one of the fuel pumps of Pumangol in Luanda, supplied two SHAANQI and HOWO brand trucks with 3,000 liters each and a SINOTRUCK brand truck with 5,000 liters.
According to the spokesman of the Criminal Investigation Service in Bengo, criminal investigation agent, Peterson Cassule, the citizens in question made changes in the characteristics of the vehicles, using pre-fabricated containers, but were discovered during a search, when they intended to cross the said Inspection Post.
It should be noted that the detained citizens were present at the Public Prosecutor's Office for further procedural steps.
